We’ve wanted to see a flick here since we inadvertently drove past the place one summer several years ago, and we finally did. Not disappointed! It’s one of a little over 300 drive-ins left in the U.S., and at 8,000 feet, it’s the highest elevation drive-in theater in the country. The surrounding views are spectacular! We saw The Sheep Detectives, listening to it on 98.7 FM. The place was packed, and we had several wistful moments as we watched kids in pajamas snuggle into sleeping bags in the backs of SUVs. In full disclosure, I wore my jammies too. Even the food, while a tad pricey, was excellent in quality and taste. We sorta wish we could go back in time and bring our kids with us! We’ll be back, though.

Love this place. Brought back tons of childhood memories of going to the drive in with my parents in the 80s. Although it rained the entire time, the movie played on. We saw the new live action Moana movie. The screen was very crisp. Seemed hi-def. Highly recommended. Kids loved it too!

Loved it. Movie was excellent quality and had no issues with the volume through our radio. Did not partake of the concession stand. Will be back for sure.

An amazing piece of Americana, in the most beautiful location of ANY theater anywhere! Great screen and picture quality, and the best popcorn I've ever had. When visiting BV, you must see a picture at The Comanche!!! Keep this business going!

On a trip to the Mt Princeton Hot Springs we came here one night. Absolutely loved it. The mountains were gorgeous. It was like my parents always talked about, kids playing before the movie, nostalgic, and so much fun. I wish more drive in theaters still existed. Seriously the best place to catch a movie in Colorado.

Hands down my favorite drive in theater. Friendly people, great quality, beautiful place. I look forward to coming back year after year.

How AWESOME this little treat out in the middle of a field in the mountains definitly was. I had not been to a drive in in forever. They were showing Wonder Woman. Not such a great movie to me. I know a lot of people liked it. I'd have to say I was not impressed with it. The drive on the other hand I was very impressed with...The scenery at dusk was gorgeous. You are surrounded by mountains ALL around you..The bathroom is small one toilet. The snack bar was really cool. I'd definitely recommend that if you're up for the weekend in Cottonwood springs or Bueno Vista to check them out. Takes you back in time...
